Le Toit Angevin
LE TOIT ANGEVIN (LTA) is a
French social housing company based in Angers, created in 1949 by a group of employers
for re-construction after WW II. The company is affiliated to the CIL
which collects an allocation from companies up to 2% of the wages to
contribute to building construction.
We manage 6 600 dwellings in Angers and its surroundings with a vacancy less than 1% and a good level of maintenance. Our aim is to provide attractive and affordable dwellings to our tenants with a relation based on local management with local offices and reinforced teams of caretakers. Our quality of service is essential and we obtained a specific certification Qualibail in 2005.
We has always been participating in every area of the social housing construction, through the development of partnerships on a local, national and European scale. Our main issues are now to develop: urban renewal - social inclusion - IT services – quality of service - construction of dwellings (120-150 per year) - student residences and residences provided with medical care.
Among the main orientations of our strategy, we are developing a plan to take into account new necessary practises and regulations for sustainable development based most notably on renovation and construction of dwellings with adapted equipments for insulation and limited energy consumptions, management of waste, vegetal areas in urban planning and tenants’ awareness on energy consumptions aspects.
Our involvement in Save@Work4Homes is fully part of this strategy to take advantage from our European partners’ experiences, identify best practises and contribute to their improvement.
